Bubble Maker Program

STARTING AT $195

  • Who should take this program?
Bubblemaker is as fun as it sounds – a chance for kids to blow bubbles by scuba diving. Children who are at least 8 years old can use scuba gear to breathe underwater and swim around in shallow water. Have a party or celebrate a birthday by throwing a memorable, exciting Bubblemaker event with friends and family at your home or a pool we work with..

A child must be 8 years old or older. Kids must be comfortable in the water, but no prior experience is necessary. Parental approval is required.

    What will your child learn?
    Bubblemakers get a chance to:

    • Experience scuba diving under the direct care and supervision of a PADI Pro.

    • Take their first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 metres/6 feet.

    • Learn about and use scuba diving equipment made for children – not adults.

    • Have lots of fun.

What scuba gear will you use?
In the Bubblemaker program, participants get a basic introduction to how to use scuba gear, how to clear a regulator and mask, and an overview of breathing do’s and don’ts. One of our instructors will advise you about anything else you need.

Discover Scuba Course

$250

  • Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it.

While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.

    The Fun Part
There is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time. It takes a little getting used to after all, human beings weren’t designed to do that but after a few minutes of awestruck wonder, most participants realize how easy scuba diving really is. The biggest challenge instructors have with the Discover Scuba Diving program is not coaxing participants into the water, but coaxing them out when the program is over. The fun part? It’s all fun!

You learn the basics you need to dive under the direct supervision of a professional. One thing you’ll learn is that you really can breathe underwater and whether you like doing that or not. You will:

    • Learn what wearing scuba equipment feels like and how easy it is to move around underwater while wearing it

    • Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater and learn whether you can be comfortable there

    • Learn some basic skills and safety rules that will carry over to your full scuba certification course when you take the next step

    The Scuba Gear You Use:
All the equipment you will need is in the Discover Scuba Diving experience. You’ll use all the basic scuba gear including a mask, fins, a buoyancy compensating jacket that also carries your scuba tank, a scuba regulator to breathe from and instrumentation to monitor depth, time and air supply.

Prerequisites: You must be 10 years of age and in good health.

Cost: $250 including the use of all the equipment.

Your Next Adventure: Once you complete a Discover Scuba Diving program, you’ll want to check out the Open Water Diver certification course.
