To begin reaching for a career in diving, either full or part time, attaining the Divemaster rating is your first step along the professional pathway. During the course you will expand your diving theory and knowledge to the professional level. Then, in an especially fulfilling aspect of the course, you'll learn carefully designed techniques for supervising diving activities and assisting divers with training.
The class is broken down into 3 phases:
- Watermanship and Skills Assessment
- Knowledge Development
- Practical Application
The prerequisites for this course are as follows:
- Must be certified as a rescue diver
- 18 years of age
- Logged at least 60 dives
- Be in good physical condition (physical exam within the past year)
